Let’s Improve Education For Our Students

We must lift up our students.

Since confident children become successful adults, our program’s activities include a "Level Up" Summer Camp designed to prevent “Summer Learning Loss.” Empirical data shows that children lose 2 months of reading and learning skills over the summer break (Oxford Learning). These losses are particularly damaging to children who already possess serious learning gaps.

The vision for children’s learning will be implemented in many forms: (1) Reading book clubs with selections for reluctant readers; a fun way to increase comprehension skills, build literacy and vocabulary; (2) Basic writing survival skills 101; (3) Essential life skills including nutrition and remote-area gardening skills; and (4) Skill maintenance in Reading, Science, and Math to bridge gaps as children advance to the next grade level.

The program will implement a food service to feed the children participating in the summer camp program. Additionally, the summer camp program gives the student's incentives for participating and completing all summer programs through their graduation year. Next Generation Giving, Inc. employs (with summer stipends) other experienced and dedicated educators to achieve these goals.
